Directions to use Reading A-Z Program in Clever
READING A-Z FOR GRADES K-12
Your child has been given access to Kids A-Z, an interactive website with thousands of texts and resources to access via an app or download. The resources are available in English and Spanish. Your child can sign on using their Clever password to gain access to the texts and resources and receive weekly assignments from their teacher to help improve their reading ability. Additionally, students can go to the "Reading Room" and choose any text that they would like for additional reading practice. If you would like to receive activity and progress reports for your child and send him/her messages, you can register for parent access via your child's teacher.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To use Reading A-Z or Imagine Learning you MUST enable the microphone on your computer or tablet to be able to record. Both programs let students record themselves reading aloud so I can evaluate their progress and give feedback. I will assign running records so I need to listen to students reading aloud. I can also listen to their reading practice sessions as well.
